My Year of Dating Crazy Discussion Questions

  1. What was your first impression of Alex as a character and how did it evolve throughout the story?

  2. How did the year-long format of the story impact your reading?

  3. This story is set in the 90’s and Alex uses a newspaper personal ad to “get back out there” - how might this be different today? Do you think it would have played out similarly with modern dating apps or websites?

  4. During Alex’s quest she comes up with a list of requirements for her new beau, LoQuaSH. If you were to come up with a similar list, what would be on it?
